“Weavers of Imagination” picked for two intl. events
TEHRAN.(Iranart) – Iranian documentarian Mohammad-Sadeq Jafari’s “Weavers of Imagination” will compete in two festivals in India and the United States during September, Iran’s Documentary and Experimental Film Center (DEFC) announced on Saturday.
The film will first be screened at the Lifft India, a festival of literature, illusion, information, film, frame, television and theater awards, which is scheduled to be held in Lonavla, a region near Mumbai, from September 1 to 5.
The Norman Festival in Oklahoma, which will open on September 23, will screen the documentary.
A DEFC production, “Weavers of Imagination” tells the story of several blind carpet weavers who spend happy times when they get together.
