Isfahan children’s film festival announces lineups for two sections

TEHRAN.(Iranart) – The 30th International Film Festival for Children and Youth announced the lineups for the international animation competition and short and mid-length films competition on Friday.

Seven animated films and eighteen short and mid-length movies from Iran, Japan, France, Austria, Russia, Germany, Canada, India and several others are scheduled to go on screen at the festival, which will run from June 30 to July 6 in Isfahan.

“The Boy and the Beast” by Mamoru Hosoda and “Chieri and Cherry” by Makoto Nakamura, both from Japan, “Long Way North” by Remi Chaye from France, “Hero Quest” by Maksim Fadeev from Russia and “Release from Heaven” by Ali Nuri-Oskui from Iran are among the animated films.

“Rhodes Learns from the Things” by Alex Pop from Canada, “Amelia’s Closet” by Halima Lucas from the U.S., “Meeting Superman” by Hannah Stockmann from Germany and “Blank Squares” by Rebecca Figenschau are among the short and mid-length films that will compete in the event.
