Iran organizes photo exhibit at Milano Intl. FICTS Festival
TEHRAN – (Iranart)- An exhibition of sports photos from Iran opened at the 36th Milano International FICTS Festival, a sports movies and telefilms event currently underway in the Italian city.
The photos have been selected from the submissions to the 4th Iran International Sports Photo Festival held in January during the 11th Tehran International FICTS Festival.
Ali Qalamsiah, Ali Samei, Abolfazl Amanollah and Farshad Abbasi were the members of the selection board and the collection, which is composed of 41 photos, will be on view at the exhibition until Tuesday, the Tehran International FICTS Festival announced on Friday.
Iranian movies “My Sister Mohadeseh” by Atefeh Mehrabi, “I Am Iranian” by Mohammadreza Ahanj and “Iran plus Two Powers” and “Sniff”, both by director Farzaneh Amini, are competing in the various sections of the Milano International FICTS Festival, which will run until Monday.
The Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs (FICTS) is the organizer of the festival, which is the final phase of the World FICTS Challenge that runs in 16 countries including Iran.
