Two Films Win Asia-Pacific Awards in Taipei
TEHRAN.(Iranart) – Two Iranian films won three prizes at the 58th Asia-Pacific Film Festival (APFF) in Taipei, Taiwan, August 29-September 2.
“Appendix” directed by Hossein Namazi won the best actor award for Amir Ali Danaei and jury’s special mention for Namazi’s innovation and creativity, while veteran actress Soraya Ghasemi received the best supporting actress award for her performance in the war drama “The Villa Complex Residents,” ISNA reported.
