Sanandaj gallery to showcase illustrations from Bratislava biennial

TEHRAN.(Iranart) – A selection of works from the various editions of the Biennale of Illustrations Bratislava (BIB) will be showcased in an exhibition in Sanandaj, Kordestan Province.

The exhibition, which will open at the Sureh Gallery of the Bahman Cineplex on July 15, will be organized in a collaboration between the Kordestan branch of the Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (IIDCYA) and the Sanandaj branch of the Art Bureau.

Alireza Golduzian, the winner of BIB Grand Prix in 2005, will also hold a workshop at the gallery on July 16.

The exhibit will be running for one week.

The first edition of the Slovakian biennial was held in 1967.
