“The Little Key” available for English readers
TEHRAN.(Iranart) – “The Little Key” by Iranian children’s book writer Ebrahim Qadrdan has been published in English.
Siamak Mazlumi is the translator of the book published by the Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adult (IIDCYA), the publisher announced on Tuesday.
Illustrated by Ali Khodai, the book is from the Morghak Series, an IIDCYA collection for children aged between 6 months to 6 years old that helps children to enter a dialogue and take an active role in the relationship.
The book tells the story of a key that imagines itself to be a butterfly. In its imaginings, the key flies in the flower fields and begins friendships with numerous insects.
The Persian version of “The Little Key” was published in 2013.
