Golnari’s Solo Show in Dubai

TEHRAN.(Iranart) – 1×1 Art Gallery in Dubai, UAE, opened an exhibition of sculptures by Iranian visual artist Kourosh Golnari on May 13.

The exhibit is titled “Reticence” and includes female busts and headpieces, installations and portrait paintings associated with Iranian culture, ILNA reported on its Persian website. It is the product of Golnari’s five years of research and work. The portraits of the female figures are similar to those seen in rituals and iconography in Persian culture. The sculptures and installations, in different sizes and created from various materials, will remain on display until mid-June at the gallery located at No. 10, Alserkal Avenue, Street 8, Al Qouz.
