'Weavers of Imagination' wins award at ARC filmfest.

TEHRAN.(Iranart) - May 07 (MNA) – Iranian documentary 'Weavers of Imagination' directed by Mohammad Sadegh Jafari has won an award at ARC Film Festival.

The second edition of ARC Film Festival was held in German city of Mainz on April 25-28.

The Iranian documentary film competed against 8 other documentaries to win the best film award.

'Weavers of Imagination' recounts the life of a number of visually-impaired people who weave rugs together and how the simple fact of working together fills them with a great sense of happiness.

The latest award that Jafari’s production won was the grand prix at the 4th International Documentary Film Festival and Transmedia (RIOS) in Portugal in March. It had also been picked as best documentary film at the Lifft India Awards in India. It also grabbed the best foreign language doc. film award in 2017 Cardiff International Film Festival in Wales.
