Miald Tower to welcome Fajr Film Festival next week
TEHRAN.(Iranart) – Tehran’s Miald Tower will be playing host to Iranian cineastes on February 1 for the opening ceremony of the 36th Fajr Film Festival, the organizers announced on Monday.
Dubber Manuchehr Esmaeili, filmmaker Mohammad Ali Najafi and actor Akbar Abdi will be honored with lifetime achievement awards during the ceremony.
In addition, creators of top advertising materials, including trailers and film posters, will be honored at the ceremony.
The director of the opening ceremony is Majid Barzegar.
The 36th Fajr Film Festival will be held in Tehran from February 1 to 11.
