“Alphabet” to compete in Kansas City Film Festival

TEHRAN.(Iranart) – Iranian director Kianush Abedi’s animated movie “Alphabet” will compete in the Kansas City Film Festival in April, Iran’s Documentary and Experimental Film Center that is the producer of the film announced on Monday.

A large lineup of films in various categories will be screened at the festival, which will take place in the U.S. city from April 11 to 15.

The story in “Alphabet” is set in a town located in nowhere land. It has been years since the people of this town forgot the alphabets of life. They have no sight, hearing or speech left… but the words are impatiently waiting to be sung again.
