Shiraz galleries to hang photos from 4th Khayyam exhibition
TEHRAN.(Iranart) – A selection of photos from the 4th Khayyam International Exhibition of Photography will be on view in six galleries in Shiraz, Fars Province.
The exhibit will open in the Jam, Ashena, Aban, Sarv-e Naz, Tar-o-Pud and Aab galleries today and will be running until November 22, Iran’s branch of Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique (FIAP) announced in a press release published on Monday.
The selection has been chosen from works by photographers from China, Spain, India, Greece, France and dozens of other countries, Ali Samei, the representative for Iran’s branch of FIAP, the main organizer of the exhibition has said.
FIAP President Riccardo Busi and his colleague Romain Nero opened the 4th Khayyam International Exhibition of Photography at the Iranian Artists Forum in Tehran in May.
The collection was also displayed at the Hellenic Photographic Society in Athens, Greece in October.
Italy, France, Spain, China, Russia, Argentina and several other countries will be the next hosts of the exhibit.
The Focus Photo Club organizes the Khayyam exhibit annually with the help of the Photographic Society of America (PSA) and International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP).
