Murder of a Judge
TEHRAN.(Iranart) – M ashayekhi Theater Hall has the play ‘The Closed Case’ on stage. It is directed by Bahman Bateni and based on a true story. Penned by Armin Faramarz, the play is about the assassination case of the respected Italian judge, Giovanni Falcone.
Working as a prosecuting magistrate, Falcone spent most of his professional life trying to overthrow the power of the Sicilian Mafia. He was killed by the Corleonesi Mafia, a cartel within the Sicilian Mafia, in May 1992, Tiwall.com reported.
The cast includes Alireza Sokhanvar, Babak Behrouzi, Nasim Poursalim, Babak Mahmoudzadeh, Pouria Abaspour and Armin Faramarz.
The theatrical work will be performed until November 10 at Mashayekhi Hall located at No. 1478, northwest of Vali-e-Asr Crossroad.
