Iran Nat’l Museum to Display South Korean Relics

TEHRAN.(Iranart) – I ran National Museum will display a collection of ancient artifacts from South Korea in an exhibition slated to open on Nov. 4.

Accompanied by two South Korean representatives, the artifacts, comprising 144 objects dating back to the Silla era, arrived in Tehran early this week, Mehr News Agency quoted the museum’s manager, Jebraeil Nokandehi as saying.

Named ‘Silla and Pars: A Common Memory’, the exhibition will showcase relics, including a silver crown, a golden belt and pendant, silver  armbands, golden swords and a silver bowl.

Silla was the kingdom that ruled southeastern Korea from the 1st century BCE to 7th century CE.
