TEHRAN –(Iranart)- T he play ‘Blood Wedding’, a tragedy by the late Spanish dramatist Federico Garcia Lorca (1898-1936) and directed by Iranian theater director Masoud Nourmohamadian, is currently on stage at Baran Theater Hall.

 Translated into Persian by the late Iranian poet and translator Ahmad Shamlou, it is about a young woman and two men fighting for her love. Some themes present in the work include the cycle of life, progression of time, choice, deception, fate, and nature, Tiwall.com reported. The cast includes Hanieh Saeedi, Milad Eskandari, Sogand Montazer, Maral Abdolahi, Rojan Kiani, Neda Qasemi, Hedieh Forough, Hossein Emadi and Aylar Noshahri. The show will run until Sept. 22 every night at 9pm at Baran Theater, located at No. 292, Felestin St., after Enqelab St.
