Capri Island exhibit showcases works by Iranian, Italian artists

TEHRAN.(Iranart) – The Certosa di San Giacomo, a monastery on Capri Island in Italy, is displaying works by a number of Iranian and Italian artists in an exhibition entitled “Contemporary Visions - Memory and Object”.

Works by Firuzeh Akhlaqi, Mohamad-Hadi Fadavi, Shahram Karimi, Alireza Karimpur, Alireza Saadatmand, Sahar Salehi and Amir-Bakhtiar Sanjabi, all from Iran, have been selected for the exhibition, which opened on Saturday, the organizers announced. 

From Italy, Filippo Centenari, AfterAll, Fabrizio Cotognini, Pamela Diamante, Pierpaolo List, Giovanni Termini and Ciro Vitale are also displaying their artworks at the event.

The event is organized by Istituto Garuzzo for Visual Arts in collaboration with the Polo Museale della Campania, an art museum in Naples, Italy.

Alessandro Demma from Italy is the curator of the exhibit, which will run until October 31.
