Iranian-Armenian contemporary art exhibition in Tehran
An Exhibition titled "Sodality" of five Iranian-Armenian veteran and influential artists will be displayed on January 7, in Maryam Gallery.
iranart : the exhibition will be held by cooperation Archbishop Ardak Manoukian Musuem and with influence approaches of artists on Iranian Contemporary Art. This exhibition will be displayed five works of following artists who have influence on visual arts.
Artists like, Lilitte Therian(Sculptor), Serjh Avakian(Graphist), Edman O'Aivazian(Painter and Architect), Simon Aivazian ( Painter, Architect and Photographer), Garnik der Hagopian(Painter and Architect) had significant role in forming Iranian contemporary art.
This exhibition inaugurates on the birthday of Jesus Christ (PBUH) by attendance of Head of Tehran Municipality Cultural and Art Organization Mahmoud Salahi , the Armenian archbishop of Tehran Sebouh Sarkissian and sculptors, painters and graphics.
The exhibitin will be opened on January 7 and runs through January 12 in Maryam Gallery located in Maryam Park, Nejatollahi St. Karimkhan Blvd, Tehran, Iran.
