French photographer Alain Ceccaroli to hang works in Tehran

TEHRAN –(Iranart)- An exhibition is set to open this evening at the Iranian Artists Forum in Tehran to showcase works by French photographer Alain Ceccaroli.

A collection composed of 21 black-and-white photographs featuring mountain landscapes will be on view at the exhibition titled “Entre errance et eternite” (“Between Wandering and Eternity”), the forum announced.

Ceccaroli, 73, is scheduled to attend the opening ceremony of the exhibition and also hold a workshop on the sidelines of the exhibit on November 25.

The exhibition will run until November 30.

Ceccaroli is interested in the visible and invisible traces of history on the landscape.

In his visit to the Swiss Alps in 1988 and 1989, his passion for landscapes turned resolutely towards the mountain peaks and their surroundings. As a consequence, all visible and invisible traces of history on the countryside appeal to him.

He also created collections of landscape photos in Greece, Croatia, Syria and several other countries.

Galleries and museums across the world have frequently organized exhibitions of his photos.
