TEHRAN – (Iranart)- The Iranian Academy of Arts paid tribute to the deceased members by organizing an exhibition of their works at the Khial Gallery of the Saba Art and Cultural Institute in Tehran.
The exhibit displays works by graphic designer Morteza Momayyez, architect Hossein Lorzadeh, sculptor Ali-Akbar Sanati, painter Mansureh Hosseini and several other artists.
The opening ceremony was attended by a great number of artists and literati, including calligrapher Gholamhossein Amirkhani, miniaturist Mahmud Farshchian, musician Shahin Farhat, and filmmakers Majid Majidi and Dariush Mehrjui.
The exhibit will be running until Wednesday at the gallery located on Mozaffar St., near the intersection of Taleqani and Vali-e Asr Ave.
