Paintings, Calligraphy by Young Artists at Shalman Gallery
TEHRAN.(Iranart) – A group exhibition by young artists is slated for September 7-12 at Shalman Art Gallery in Tehran. The exhibit features paintings and calligraphy created by 17 artists and collected by curator Pejman Dadkhah and gallery owner Ali Mazarei, Mehr News Agency reported.
Haleh Yazdani, Mirfarhad Moqimi, Faezeh Afjehnia, Roya Armakian, Mojgan Bakhshi and Atefeh Heydari are among the participating artists. The upcoming event is a follow up to the previous show at the gallery where photographs and sculptures by young artists were displayed. “The gallery wants to help assist the sale of artworks by new artists and for this reason this year we are showing modern art created by the young artists,” Mazarei said. The venue is located at No. 27, Kavousi Alley, West Roudbar St., Shariati St.
