Women’s Problems
TEHRAN.(Iranart) - D iplomat Gallery in the north of the city is holding an exhibition of paintings by Faezeh Afjehnia.
The works presented seek to highlight the problems of women and issues like violence against women, Mehr News Agency reported.
After her exhibit last year at Shelman Gallery, this is the second show Afjehnia has dedicated to the problems of women.
The portraits have been created with a small palette of colors with mainly black and dark tones. Red is the only bright color used in some of the works but it hardly adds any joy to the works. Afjehnia has employed red to accentuate the intensity and sadness of the situation.
The gallery, located at No. 10, Naz Alley, Boustan Street, Aqdasieh neighborhood, will be hosting the works through August 16.
