Shared Heritage of Balkan on Display
TEHRAN.(Iranart) - A photo exhibition of national heritage and archeological artifacts from the Balkan countries is on display at Sa’dabad Cultural Historical Complex, June 18-25. Titled “The Balkans, A Shared Heritage,” the show includes 114 photographs by Bulgarian artist and photographer Ivo Hadjimishev, IRNA reported on its Persian website.
The pictures present a glimpse of shared historical and archeological relics of the Balkan Peninsula from the Middle Ages.
Supported by the Dutch foundation Horizon, the exhibit was earlier held at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris in 2015.
