Auction of Illustrious Artworks

TEHRAN.(Iranart) – A collection of fascinating artworks by prominent artists is on sale at the newly founded Arthibition Art Gallery in Tehran, May 11-21.

In collaboration with other galleries and art collectors, Arthibition is auctioning works of more than 50 artists, Honaronline reported.

Works of accomplished artists including painter and calligrapher Mohammad Ehsai (79), contemporary painter Farideh Lashai (1944-2013), avant-garde sculptor and painter Jazeh Tabatabai (1931-2008), modernist painter Hannibal Alkhas (1930-2010), and traditional painter of Saghakhaneh School of Art Nasser Ovissi (74) are among the collection.
