British artist Tony Cragg to attend TMCA meeting on Iranian sculpture
TEHRAN –(Iranart)- British sculptor Tony Cragg is scheduled to attend a meeting that will be organized by the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art tomorrow to discuss modern sculpture in Iran.
Iranian artist Behrang Samadzadegan has also been invited to the meeting, which will be held at 12 in collaboration with the Association of Iranian Sculptors, the TMCA announced on Saturday.
Before the session, Turner Prize-winner Cragg and a number of Iranian artists are also scheduled to attend the unveiling ceremony of a Cragg’s sculpture, which was donated to the museum.
A large collection of Cragg’s huge sculptures and drawings was showcased in an exhibition titled “Roots and Stones” at the TMCA from October 24, 2017 to January 12, 2018.
