Wood Carving Show at Arasbaran
TEHRAN –(Iranart)- A joint exhibition of wood art created by artists Khosrow Jafari and Razieh Firouzi opened on December 9 at Arasbaran Cultural Center in Tehran.
According to the venue website, the 10-day exhibit is showing 40 pieces with the subjects of nature and portraits.
Jafari, 51, learned the art from the great master of Iranian wood carving, Mohammad Taher Emami (1930-2012). So far, he has attended many national and foreign exhibits. Firouzi, 50, was a student of the master Salaheddin Allamehzadeh (aged 72).
Arasbaran Cultural Center is located at Jolfa St. north of Seyyed-Khandan Bridge, Shariati Ave.
