TEHRAN.(Iranart) – A theatrical work ‘Justice: The Qajar Way’ is on stage at the House of Performance in Theater Department, affiliated to the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, and will continue through January 20.
The fiction revolves around a man linked to the Qajar (1785-1925) royal court who along with his family decides to leave the country. On their outward journey they get stuck on a little boat in the middle of nowhere with nothing to eat. Pang of hunger pushes them towards a shocking decision in which one of them should be eaten by the others.
Written and directed by Ali Borji, the cast includes Mojdeh Givehki, Naghme Sharif, Elaheh Farbodzadeh, Shahriar Heidari and Sahar Aqasi, Tiwall wrote.
The hall is situated at Mohammad-Aqa Alley, N. Mousavi St., Ferdowsi Square.
