Desperate Desire
TEHRAN.(Iranart) – A play by the Spanish dramatist Federico García Lorca is on stage at Arghanoon Theater. It is the work of Ashkan Sadeqi and Elham Shakib.
The story is about a childless woman living in rural Spain. Her desperate desire for motherhood turns into an obsession that eventually drives her to commit a horrific crime. The 70-minute play is accompanied by a music ensemble. Ahmad Qaed is the singer while Emad Ejlal and Kian Kordestani are on instruments. Shiva Ebrahimi, Sam Kaboudvand, Atieh Javid, Ashkan Sadeqi, Parandeh A'laei and Shakib are in the cast, Tiwall wrote. Located at No. 1, Ziba Alley, Neauphle-le-Chateau St., Hafez Ave., the venue will host the play through December 29.
