Fakhreddini to Present 50 Years of Music Career at Vahdat Hall
TEHRAN. (Iranart) -Veteran composer and conductor Farhad Fakhreddini will conduct an orchestra early next month at Vahdat Hall in Tehran.
Fakhreddini, 79, will conduct Farhang-o-Honar (culture and art) Orchestra on August 2-3. The orchestra is a group of classical and traditional instrumentalists affiliated to Farhang-o-Honar 46, a vocational institute of higher education of the Culture Ministry.
“I hope the concerts will be satisfactory. I’m coming on the stage after a hiatus of several years, and I look forward to seeing art enthusiasts at Vahdat Hall,” the website of Young Journalists Club quoted Fakhreddini as saying.
“The orchestra is now focused on rehearsing. What will be presented is the result of my 50-year music career,” the master musician said.
