Sediq Tariff Will Sing to Support Quake Victims

TEHRAN –(Iranart)- Traditional Iranian singer Sediq Tariff is to perform two charity concerts in Kermanshah and Hamedan in western Iran to support the quake-stricken people of Kermanshah Province.

A 7.3-magnitude quake shook the western province of Kermanshah and the regions bordering Iraq last November, and cut short the lives of over 500 people, injured thousands, and left large numbers homeless, many of whom are still living in temporary shelters.  Tariff will hold the first concert in Hamedan on February 26 and his Kermanshah concert is scheduled for Feb. 28. Proceeds of both concerts will go to help the quake-afflicted people, Mehr News Agency reported. He will sing traditional Persian songs and some pieces in Kurdish.
