Azeri Pop Performance by 4 Singers
TEHRAN.(Iranart) – P op Azeri composer and singer Hashem Eslamian, known as Ayhan, will hold a concert at the Ministry of Interior Auditorium in Tehran on February 22.
Ayhan will be accompanied by three singers from the Azerbaijan Republic, namely Baloglan Ashrafov, Namiq Garachukhurlu and Elchin Huseynov as well as instrumentalists from Reyhan ensemble, from Ardebil Province, conducted by Hojjat Mabzoul who will perform Azeri pop music, Honaronline reported.
The four singers had a successful performance last September at the same venue, the first joint concert by singers from Iran and the neighboring state. “As it was warmly received by the audience, we decided to stage it once again,” Ayhan said, adding that besides the folkloric pieces performed in the past, they will also sing a number of new songs. The auditorium is located on Gomnam Avenue, north of Fatemi Square.
