TEHRAN.(Iranart) - A cclaimed master of traditional music and vocalist Shahram Nazeri has brought out a new album ‘Who Is in Love?’ Released by Iran Gaam, a well-known record label based in Tehran, the album pays tribute to Abu Saeed Abul-Khayr (967-1049), a famous Persian poet who contributed extensively to the evolution of Sufi tradition.

“I believe the album is among the best and vastly different music productions in recent years,” founder and manager of the publishing company Sadroddin Hosseinkhani said. The work was released across Iran, November 13, Honaronline reported. ‘Who Is in Love?’ is composed by composer and conductor Amir Pourkhalaji, 34. He also conducted the recording orchestra performed by Prague Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra in Czech Republic, where Czech violinist Radek Krizanovsky was the concertmaster. The album was recorded at Czech Television Sound Stage (MUSA Ltd) in Prague.  In the brochure of the album, a note by writer, poet, literary critic, editor and translator Mohammad Reza Shafiee-Kadkani, 78, reads: “Abu Saeed collected people’s experiences. In this practice, he was very much like (Persian poet) Hafez. His art culminates in his unique manner of selecting and presenting; not in creating and innovating.”
