Azerbaijani tar player Ramiz Guliyev to perform in Tehran
TEHRAN.(Iranart) – Azerbaijani tar virtuoso Ramiz Guliyev will give concerts at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall on December 21 and 22.
Iran’s Culture and Art Orchestra conducted by Ali-Akbar Qorbani and Shahram Tavakoli will also collaborate with Guliyev.
“A wide repertoire of Azerbaijani music selected by Guliyev will be performed at the concerts,” Qorbani told the Persian service of MNA on Saturday.
Iranian vocalist Rashid Vatandust will accompany the orchestra during the concerts.
