Iranian cinematographer Farajollah Heidari dies at 62

TEHRAN –(Iranart)- Iranian cinematographer Farajollah Heidari died of a heart attack at his home in Tehran on Thursday. He was 62.

He began his career in 1970 with “Men’s Alley” directed by Saeid Motallebi. He also worked in over 50 movies, several of which were acclaimed by critics and at film events.

Among his credits are “Boycot” and “Once Upon a Time, Cinema” by Mohsen Makhmalbaf, “The Rule of the Game” by Ahmadreza Motamedi, “Parkway” by Fereidun Jeirani, “The Unwanted Woman” by Tahmineh Milani and “Aquarium” by Iraj Qaderi.
