Munich library asks Iranian publishers to help enhance Persian section
TEHRAN.(Iranart) – A coordinator of the International Youth Library in Munich has asked Iranian publishers to donate books to help enrich its Persian collection.
In a statement published on Sunday, Leila Maktabifard, a Persian language specialist who collaborates with the library and the Children’s Book Council in Iran, asked the Iranian publishers that plan to attend the Frankfurt Book Fair 2018 to donate their books to the library after the fair is over.
“The library is currently home to about 4000 Persian books and we hope to increase the number with the help of Iranian publishers,” she said.
The Iran Cultural Fairs Institute has announced that over 20 Iranian publishers and several literary agencies and associations will attend the Frankfurt Book Fair 2018,which will be running from October 10 to 14.
