Iranian culture minister Abbas Salehi visits Azerbaijan
TEHRAN.(Iranart) – The Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Abbas Salehi, arrived in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku on Tuesday to attend an Iranian cultural festival.
He visited Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev a few hours after his arrival in the country.
He is scheduled to hold meetings with a number of Azerbaijani officials and also visit several cultural centers in the country.
Iran’s National Orchestra will perform two concerts in Baku and the other Azerbaijani city of Ganja during the five-day cultural festival, which will begin today.
An Iranian theater troupe will also give several performances during the festival.
