TEHRAN.(Iranart) – The 8-year-old Iranian writing prodigy Rastin Fayyazi debuted his story during a ceremony at the 31st Tehran International Book Fair on Monday.

Entitled “The Soup Squirrel Cooked for Wolf”, the book tells the story of a squirrel, which is caught by a wolf on a rainy day in a jungle, but they become great friends after the squirrel cooks a soup for the wolf.

The book brought the first prize for Rastin at the story writing competition of Tehran’s District 1 organized by the Ministry of Education last year.

Illustrated by Mohammadreza Mirshah Valad, the book has been published by Aftab-e Andisheh Publications.

Rastin says he enjoys reading in his spare time and has memorized many stories.
