Tabriz Municipality Calls for Bridge Designs
TEHRAN. (Iranart) - Municipality of Tabriz, capital of East Azarbaijan Province, is planning to construct a pedestrian bridge between the two parks of the city. It has organized an international architecture competition and has called for submission of designs.
The bridge is intended to link two large parks of the city known as El-Goli and El-Baghi. El-Goli or El-Golu is more famous. It has a square lake surrounded by a sidewalk on four sides. In the middle of the lake is a building constructed in the traditional Azari architecture. Elgoli is 70 hectares and El-Baghi is about twice as large as El-Goli.
