Conference on Research in Language and Literature
TEHRAN –(Iranart)- T he first International Symposium on New Research in Language and Literature is to be held two weeks later in Tehran by Danesh Pazhouh Cultural Scientific Institute, a confab organizer based in Tehran.
The secretariat of the symposium, on 1st Alley, Sarafraz Street, Motahari Avenue, has called for submission of papers on topics such as contemporary literature, comparative analysis, narrative literature, children’s literature, literary genres, history of literature, as well as Arabic and English language and literature.
The deadline for submissions is March 3. Selected papers will be announced on March 4 and the conference will be held on March 6.
Other topics covered by the symposium include translation, grammar and linguistics, applied linguistics, discourse analysis, special-purpose language, language learning, interrelation of literature and ideology, language and culture, intercultural communication, identity and culture, critical thinking in language learning, literature and globalization, geopolitics in literature and semantics, as well as literature and global peace.
