TEHRAN.(Iranart) – S afir English Language Academy, with branches across Iran, has organized a tour of Niavaran Palace Museum in north Tehran.

The tour will be led by one of the academy’s instructors who will guide the group in English, the website gosafir.com reported.

Niavaran Palace Complex, covering an area of 9,000 square meters, consists of several buildings and a museum.

Sahebqaraniyeh Palace from the time of Nasir al-Din Shah of Qajar dynasty is also situated inside this complex.

The main Niavaran Palace, completed in 1968, was the prime residence of the last king, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, and the royal family until the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Presently, it comprises five museums: Niavaran Palace Museum, Ahmad Shahi Pavilion, Sahebqaraniyeh Palace, Jahan Nama Museum and a private library.

Slated for Dec. 28, the tour will pick up visitors at the academy’s Qolhak branch located at No. 31, Yazdanian Street, Shariati Street at 8:30 a.m.
