Golestan Palace
TEHRAN. (Iranart) - T he travel agency Arand Tour has planned a tour of a selection of historical sites in downtown Tehran.
The UNESCO world heritage center of Golestan Palace is the main destination of the tour. Main hall, Shamsolemareh building, Khalvat-e Karim-Khani (the private wing of Karim-Khan) and Marble Throne Iwan (porch) are among the places to be visited.
Jewelry Museum, Moqaddam House, Meydan-Mashq and the main gate of National Garden are also on the itinerary, according to Arandtour.com.
The tour is slated for October 3 starting at 9 am near the 15-Khordad metro junction.
