TEHRAN.(Iranart) – Iranian writer and director Mostafa Taqizadeh’s debut film “Yellow” has been praised with two awards at the International Motivational Film Festival - Bridge of Arts in Rostov, Russia.
The film was crowned best and also brought Taqizadeh the award for best screenwriter at the closing ceremony of the five-day event on Sunday, producer Kamran Majidi told the Persian service of MNA on Monday.
“Yellow” tells the story of a group of close friends who try to pay for a lifesaving liver transplant.
Earlier in June, the movie won the Jury Grand Prix of the 20th Shanghai International Film Festival in China.
