Rome festival to screen doc on wife of Imam Khomeini
TEHRAN –(Iranart)- “Iran’s Lady Qods”, a documentary by Iranian filmmaker Mostafa Razzaq-Karimi about Khadijeh Saqafi, the wife of Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic, will be screened at the Asiatica Film Festival in Rome.
The festival is scheduled to be held in the Italian capital from October 4 to 10, Iran’s Documentary and Experimental Film Center, which is the producer of the documentary, announced on Saturday.
“Iran’s Lady Qods” was named best documentary in the national competition the 11th Cinema Verite, Iran’s major international festival of documentary cinema, in December 2017.
