Drama on Women Issues
TEHRAN.(Iranart) – A feature film about violence against women written and directed by Manijeh Hekmat will be released on September 26.
“Old Road” narrates the story of Minoo, a 45-year-old successful woman, who gets involved in an irritating accident on the eve of Norouz, the Iranian New Year.
Hekmat’s fourth feature film was the only work directed by a female director participating in the competition section of 36th Fajr Film Festival in February.
The cast includes Mahtab Keramati, Atila Pesyani , Parviz Pour-Hosseini, Mohammadreza Ghaffari, Mohammadreza Hedayati, Behnaz Jafari, Tarlan Parvaneh, Leyli Rashidi, Shirin Yazdanbakhsh and Hoda Zeynolabedin.
