TEHRAN. (Iranart) - F eature film “Gold Carrier” has been selected for the New Currents section of the 23rd Busan International Film Festival in South Korea, October 4-13. The 85-minute film, directed by Tooraj Aslani, chronicles Reza, a gold carrier, who delivers gold and jewelry from workshops to stores.

The New Currents section is dedicated to competition among up-and-coming Asian film-makers’ first and second feature. Films from Sri Lanka, Japan, China, Bhutan, Nepal, Korea and Kyrgyzstan will compete. Held annually in Haeundae-gu, Busan, South Korea, the BIFF is one of the most momentous film festivals in Asia.
