TEHRAN. (Iranart) -O n the occasion of the national day of cinema, September 12, Charsou Cineplex is to show a high-definition version of Kianoush Ayari’s 1986 film “The Specter of Scorpion”.

The film is about Mahmoud, a filmmaker obsessed with making 8mm films. It has been long since he has prepared the screenplay for a new feature film, but due to financial problems Mahmoud has not been able to complete the movie. His love for filmmaking makes him rob a jewelry store to finance his movie. Jahangir Almasi stars in the film alongside Hassan Rezaei, Nasser Aghaei, and Manijeh Aghaei, Tiwall.com reported.

Charsou Cineplex is located at the intersection of Jomhouri and Hafez streets.
