IAF to Honor Philosopher Dariush Shayegan
TEHRAN.(Iranart) – Iranian Artists Forum is to hold a ceremony in honor and memory of late philosopher, author and cultural theoretician Dariush Shayegan (1935-2018).
Slated for June 28, the ceremony will be held at Shahnaz Hall of the IAF in Tehran. Lectures are planned for the event by notable cultural figures, ISNA reported on its Persian website.
Philosopher Reza Davari-Ardakani, a distinguished emeritus professor of philosophy at the University of Tehran, is among the speakers along with philosophers Gholam-Hossein Ebrahimi-Dinani and Gholam-Reza Avani.
