Best Stage Actors Awarded
TEHRAN.(Iranart) – The 15th Stage Actor Celebration, organized annually by the Iranian Theater Forum to honor top actors, was held on Saturday at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall and the winners were awarded.
Best actress award went jointly to Elham Sha’abani, Ava Sharifi and Golchehreh Sajadieh for their performance in ‘Blood Sugar’ directed by Leili Aaj, ‘Waiting for Adolf’ by Alireza Koushk-Jalali and ‘Autumn Sonata’ by Jalal Tehrani, respectively, Mehr News Agency reported on its Persian website.
The best actor award went to three performers: Reza Behboudi for his role in ‘The Incident With a Metranpazh’ directed by Mohammad Hassan Ma’jouni, Behnam Sharafi for ‘Pinkish Blue’ by Sanaz Bayan, and Farzin Mohaddes for ‘Night of Long Daggers’ by Ali Shams.
Special award of the celebration was granted to TV and theater actor Houtan Shakiba for his role in the play Oliver Twist directed by Hossein Parsaei.
