‘Run, Rostam, Run’ finds way into 5 more intl. film festivals
TEHRAN.(Iranart) - Short animated piece ‘Run Rostam Run’ by Hossein Molayemi has been accepted into the competition section of five more international film festivals in Russia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Serbia and Italy.
The festivals include New Horizon International Youth Festival of Short Cinema and Animation in Russia (22-28 April); Cinema Perpetuum Mobile International Film Festival in Belarus (28 April – 1 May); Golden Kuker International Animation Film Festival in Bulgaria; Prokuplje Short Film Festival in Serbia (16-20 May); and La Guarimba International Film Festival in Italy (7-11 August).
‘Run, Rostam, Run’ is a 2D animated piece depicting the Persian national hero Rostam who must travel to the future to Tehran in order to make up for what he has done to his son. In Tehran, he doesn't know whether to choose the legal or illegal option to achieve his objective.
The animated short film has recently won the award of distinction from Edukino film festival in Poland.
