“Breath” director planning for love story

TEHRAN.(Iranart) – Director Narges Abyar, whose acclaimed movie “Breath” was Iran’s submission to the 2018 Oscars, plans to make a love story that is tentatively titled “The Night When the Full Moon Was Seen”.

The story of the film is about a girl from a poor neighborhood in southern Tehran who falls in love with a boy. Meanwhile, the girl has to emigrate from Iran.

Abyar is now visiting some southern and western Iranian cities to choose a location where the movie will be shot.

The 20th Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia awarded Abyar the Golden Wolf for best director for her “Breath”. She also won the award for best director for the film at the Vancouver International Women in Film Festival in 2017.
