TEHRAN.(Iranart) – F ourteen Iranian short films are to be screened during the 3-day Ooty Film Festival (OFF) in India.
Scheduled for December 8-10, the festival provides a platform for high-quality short films made by talented South Asian short-film filmmakers, Mehr News Agency reported.
‘Tal’at’ by Amir Raboin Roini, ‘Mr. Director’ by Amir Erfan Farhadi, ‘The Rooster’ by Amir-Reza Jalalian, ‘The Dog Is Not for Sale’ by Zaniar Kakekhani, ‘Whistle’ Kiomars Mohammad-Chenari, ‘Colorful Memories of Mr. Scacarow’ by Rasoul Haqjou, ‘Beyond the Ocular’ by Saeed Valizadeh, ‘Building No. 13’ by Amir Gholami, ‘Downfall’ by Majid Khorasani, ‘Genesis’ by Abtin Mozafari, ‘Ivan’ by Hossein Khoshnoudi, ‘Sara’s Voice’ by Peyman Khodaei and ‘The Loneliness of No.2’ by Javid Sotoudeh are among the Iranian works.
For this year’s festival, about 1250 short films have been submitted from 80 countries, of which 120 will be shortlisted by the jury.
