‘Orangish Tree’ wins best animation award in Turkey
TEHRAN.(Iranart) - Amir Moein’s animation film, ‘Orangish Tree’, won the title of the best animation at Istanbul International Architecture and Urban Film Festival on Saturday.
Two Iranian documentary films and two Iranian animations got their place among the finalist works at Istanbul International Architecture and Urban Film Festival.
Natural Building and Brawing the Waves were the two Iranian documentaries vying at the festival’s documentary section.
Natural Building directed by Babak Abedi is a documentary film jointly produced by Turkey and Iran. Brawing the Waves directed by Mina Keshavarz was the other Iranian documentary competing at the event.
Orangish Tree directed by Amir Moein was the Iranian animation which won the first prize in the branch of animation films. The other Iranian animation vying in the animation section of the festival was Switchman directed by Mehdi Khoramian.
